Custom Order your own shabby chic desk to be refinished and painted in any color. Guaranteed to exude romance and old-world charm! The custom order process takes roughly 8 to 10 weeks. We keep you up-to-date on your item's progress every step of the way. We'll find the perfect antique desk to your preferences and send pre-work photos for your review. Once you approve a desk you love, we will restore, enhance and refinish it in our fabulous shabby chic style.

How it works: Place your order by clicking on ADD TO CART button. At Checkout mark payment form as OTHER. This will allow you to complete without paying in full. Afterwards an invoice for a $400 good faith down payment will be emailed from PayPal. Once the desk is selected and approved by you an additional $400 down is required. Balance due upon completion. Let us know the style(s) you prefer from the examples shown above.

Antique desks are not usually in stock ~ we do not build these. Our furniture dates back to the early 1900's and is all very well constructed from strong, old growth wood and with century-long durability unlike today's new furnishings.

All antique furniture has dents and dings here & there but we ensure there are no major faults. The wood inside the drawers will have signs of use ~ we refurbish them to look rich. All drawers will function great. We use original antique metal pulls and knobs with old patinas. The old wheels shown are not included, however, new wooden replica wheels are available to buy.

When it comes to refinishing we always hand paint by brush. You will LOVE our craftsmanship! We take our time and properly apply multiple coats of paint, {chic} indeed! We can add a touch, or a lot, of {shabby} with our weathered age distressed finesse. Named stock colors are our own custom blends (see choices in the dropdown). We will also match your single custom color for an additional $50.

Our custom-order reclaim and restore process is an art. It includes several hours working each piece. First finding the perfect piece, followed with a thorough quality assessment, cleaning, making repairs/improvements, prep, paint, distress, photographing, packing and following through all the way to delivery! We only use USA made water-based, no VOC, lead-free paints. We never spray paint which, though quicker and cheaper, is far less durable and lifeless.
