Kind professional and answered all my questions promptly. I will use them again and have already told a friend about them!"

Sizes vary so let us know size range needed. We may de-construct the piece to make size modifications.

The pieces we sell are from about the 1920's era. The pictured dresser is from the late 1800's. We select pieces with excellent craftsmanship, constructed from strong, old growth wood and life-long durability.

Interior modifications, depending on the piece's drawer/cabinet placement, include:

1) creating a clear area for plumbing with faux drawer fronts

2) cabinet area with doors made from the original drawer fronts

4) removing back and making it installation ready

3) remove the wood top and reinforce frame to hold stone, marble or granite tops. Sink vessel, faucets, top and plumbing are NOT included. Your contractor can better provide those for perfect fits with exact size templates that come with your new hardware.

How your custom order works.... Start now by placing an order. Advise your style preference and size needs. We'll then go to work to find the piece and send photos in its original condition for your approval. Once you approve the piece, we restore, convert, enhance and refinish it in our old fashioned shabby chic style.

The process is about 8 to 10 weeks. Finding time is allocated within this timeframe. Status updates and photos are sent throughout the refinishing process. It is a fun process creating your vanity working with Camille and Jay! Share your ideas and we'll do our best to fill your dream.

All antique furniture will have characteristic dents and dings here & there. We ensure there are no major faults. We use antique metal pulls and knobs, some with old patinas.

Painting is done by hand and by brush. It takes time and we properly apply multiple coats of paint. No spray paint. Stock named colors are our own blends. We will also use your custom 1 color for an additional $50, selected from your local hardware store. Metallic colors and 2-tones are extra, please ask.
