This listing is for an antique dresser WITH DRAWERS to be converted to a bathroom vanity cabinet. The pictured bathroom sink vanity a recently finished vanity ordered from a fellow Etsy buyer just like yourself. The dresser you order is custom sourced, modified, painted and distressed in color of your choice. Simply let us know what style you love and we'll source the piece with your final approval before doing any work on it.

How it works: Add this order to your cart. We accept all credit cards, PayPal and financing via Klarna. Then let us know which style you love from the examples shown above. We'll locate your perfect antique vanity and send pre-work photos for your review. Once you approve the vanity, we will restore, enhance and refinish it in our fabulous shabby chic style. The custom order process takes roughly 10 weeks. We keep you up-to-date on the vanity's progress every step of the way.

Let us know your size needs and style or design elements you love. Also feel free to send a picture of the dresser style you want. As we source the dresser photos will be sent for your review and approval. Once you approve, we'll start to work on the modifications, enhancements and refinishing in our fabulous shabby chic style.

DRESSER SIZES VARY AND CAN BE MODIFIED FOR YOUR SPACE. LET US KNOW THE SIZE YOU NEED.


Modifications depend on the dresser's drawer configuration. Include making a cabinet area for plumbing. Small top drawers are normally faux. The cabinet doors are made from original drawer fronts. The top is removed and the frame is reinforced to hold heavier stone, marble or granite tops. We do not provide tops. While we don't suggest using a wood top we can do that but need to know this in advance of finding the piece.


INCLUDED CUSTOMIZATION:

1) Create an open, secure area for your plumbing, sink and faucet.

2) Clear your plumbing: Faux out and/or shorten drawers and modify with u shape and scoops.

3) Remove top and back, reinforce frame. Base installation ready.

4) Refurbish and clear coat drawers.

5) Stain cabinet interiors.

6) Finish: If painted: one color, solid or distressed coverage.
If stained: stain plus 2-3 coats waterproof satin top coat.

7) Add up to 8 pieces wood carved filigree, on painted pieces only.

8) Shorten height, at leg bottoms, if needed.

9) Mail traced template of top frame provided upon request.

10) Remove old wheels, and filling post holes.

11) Original antique hardware.


OPTIONAL ADD-ON CUSTOMIZATION:

- Increase/decrease depth $50 to $300
- Decrease height at body $400
- Decrease width $400
- Create cabinet storage AND turning drawer fronts into doors $500

- Add inner sliding trays/drawers $250 each
- 2nd sink only: Create an open, secure area for 2nd sink and faucet $200

- Add fixed inner shelf $50 to $100 each
- Add faux drawer "cubby" storage $150 each

- Top Coat over Paint: 2-3 coats waterproof top coat on body. $150 to $300 depending on size and complexity. Add 2 weeks to production to allow paint to cure well first.

Customization depends on the furniture's original drawer/cabinet configuration and dimensions. These will be advised as our team sends furniture pics that fit your specifics.




Dressers are not usually in stock and of course we don't make them, they are antique or vintage. You may inquire if any unfinished pieces are in stock or check our listings. Our furniture dates back to the early 1900's and is all very well constructed from strong, old growth wood and with century-long durability unlike today's new cabinetry.

The process takes about 8 to 10 weeks. Photos and updates will be provided. Once finished, final photos will be sent for your approval prior to shipping.

We only hand paint by brush. You will LOVE our craftsmanship! We take our time and properly apply multiple coats of paint, {chic} indeed! We can add a touch, or a lot, of {shabby} with our distressed finesse. Named stock colors are our own blends. We'll also do your custom 1 color for additional $50. Metallic paints are extra, please inquire.

All antique furniture will have characteristic dents and dings here & there but we will ensure there are no major faults. We use original antique metal pulls and knobs with old patinas. Any old wheels shown are not included, however, new hard wood replica wheels are available to purchase.
