Antique converted vanities are en-vogue! Amazing showpieces for 1800 and early 1900 Victorian farmhouse and brown stone renovations ~ powder rooms, guest baths and master baths. Put them in all your bathrooms. They look fabulous with marble stone or granite, old fashioned faucets and vessel or inset sinks! We provide the cabinet ready for your plumbing, top, sink and faucets. $700 down to get started, another $700 when we find the piece you love, balance due when vanity is finished, approved and ready to ship.

Here's what one Etsy customer said about her custom dresser to vanity conversion: "Loved my custom vanity. Not only was it exactly what I envisioned, working with these artists was a pleasure. Kind professional and answered all my questions promptly. I will use them again and have already told a friend about them!"

And another.... "Camille is one of the most efficient and communicative sellers on Etsy. Always superb packing, good tracking detail, and prompt shipping. PLUS she continually has fabulous, unique items. I am a ten-time repeat buyer. Just can't stay away! "

Sizes vary so let us know size range needed. We may de-construct the piece to make size modifications.

The pieces we sell are from about the 1920's era. We select pieces with excellent craftsmanship, constructed from strong, old growth wood and life-long durability.

Interior modifications, depending on the piece's drawer/cabinet placement, include:

1) creating a clear area for plumbing with faux drawer fronts

2) removing back and making it installation ready

3) reinforcing frame to hold heavier stone, marble or granite tops. The original wood top will be taken out. Sink vessel, faucets, plumbing and top are NOT included. Your contractor can better provide those for perfect fits with exact size templates that come with your new hardware.

Add-on and modification charges, IF NEEDED and if possible:

- Increase/decrease depth $100 to $250
- Increase height $100 to $300
- Shorten width $200
- Add cabinet storage and create doors from drawer fronts $300
- Add faux drawer "cubby" storage $100 each
- Add inner sliding drawers inside cabinet $100 each
- Adding specialty filigree/appliques/trim/adornments $ At Cost
- Adding different hardware $ At Cost
- Custom paint color $50

* Retaining Wood finishes limits to some degree the mods that can be made. Depends on the original drawer/cabinet configuration and dimensions. These will be advised as our team sends pics that fit your specific size needs.

How our custom order works.... Start by placing your order now. Advise your style preference and size needs. We'll then go to work to find the piece and send photos in its original condition for your approval. Once you approve the piece, we restore, convert, enhance and refinish.

Click on the ADD TO CART button. At checkout mark payment form as OTHER. This allows order completion without paying in full. A PayPal invoice for the $700 down payment will be sent afterwards or we can take your cc by phone. If we don't find a piece you love in a reasonable time the down payment will be refunded.

The process takes about 10 weeks. Finding time is allocated within this time-frame but it does not escalate working on it if found early. Status updates and photos are sent throughout the refinishing process. It is a fun process creating your vanity working with Camille! Share your ideas and we'll do our very best to fulfill your dream. 😊

All antique furniture will have characteristic dents and dings here & there. We ensure there are no major faults. We use antique metal pulls and knobs, some with old patinas.
