This low makeup vanity dates back to the early 1920's and is all very well constructed from strong, old growth wood and with century-long durability unlike today's new furnishings. The table top is 20-1/2" high. The cubbies on top are 5-1/2" high. The low style is classic for the era. A low stool or bench seat is used to sit at the vanity. The overall measurements are 71" High x 50" wide x 18" deep.
The beveled mirror is original with aged silvering. If you decide to have a new mirror cut it should cost appox. $100 depending on your location.
We hand painted the vanity by brush. You will LOVE our craftsmanship! We only use USA made water-based, no VOC, lead-free paints. We always take our time and properly apply multiple coats of paint. We added a touch of espresso toner over a natural linen color; also hand applied and wiped. The toner gives it a gorgeous weathered age distressed finesse.
The wood inside the drawers have all been refurbished. All drawers open and close effortlessly. 2 exquisite crystal knobs have been added. The old wheels shown are not included, however, new hard wood replica wheels are available to buy.
